How I Started Tastes Just Like A Memory
Well I have a tendency to be slightly impulsive, but so far it hasn’t gotten me into trouble. If you ask me, I think some of my best decisions have been made this way ????. I realized when I was preparing this post that I had mentioned to a friend via text that I may want to try a food blog on July 17th 2020, and Tastes Just Like a Memory was born on July 21st 2020. It really is so easy to get started, and I am so happy that I went for it.
Create your own website in 15 minutes or less by following these simple steps
1). Choose A Name for your dream blog and see if it is available below. (ok, this part might take some time, but once you have a name, the rest is a breeze!)
2). Get your domain name for FREE by choosing to host your domain with Bluehost. This is the hosting platform that I used to start Tastes Just Like A Memory. They have great rates and make it super easy to get up and running. They also offer 24/7 support which is a plus.
3). Select a Plan
I recommend starting out with a basic plan. It is inexpensive, and you can always choose to upgrade later. I’m using the basic plan at the time of this post.
4.) Setup Your Domain
5) Create Your Website
6) Pick a Theme
7). Install WordPress and Start Creating!
It Really Is That Simple
Once you have your website up and running with WordPress.org, you can find an endless number of free resources online to help you get started with customizing your page. The platform is very user friendly, and it didn’t take me long to get the basics. There are tons of free tutorials out there to help along the way. If you are seriously thinking about starting your own blog, click here to get started with Bluehost. It really couldn’t be easier. Yay! Let’s make a website 🙂
